Just like Val, I love to read the sugar sachets provided by coffee bars in our part of the world -there's always a gem of positive inspiration to be absorbed along with your caffeine and calories! You'll usually find me flipping my way through the sugar bowl, looking for new quotes...
I was lucky enough to come across Val's very same sugar packet at our local coffee bar a few days back... I decided to upload it here, since I do love its message, which is worth repeating.
My personal selection from the sugar bowl.
with inspirational-January-new-beginnings wishes to you all out there :-)
sweet! xx j
ReplyDeleteThese are great!
ReplyDelete(And thanks for adding me to your blog roll! I'm honored!)
I went and double-checked my sugars to see if I had missed these little gems. :)
Hi Karen, me again. I just read on Barbara`s post that you will meet Kristin tomorrow! How absolutely wonderful! Please tell me all about it!!!!
ReplyDeleteAS we don't have sugar packets like that I thought I'd just share my fav instead....
ReplyDeleteWhilst you are remembering yesterday, and dreaming about tomorrow, life is happening right now.
xx

love them! well done xx
ReplyDeleteSay, do chappies gum still have jokes printed on the wrappers?
ReplyDeleteNow you've got me thinking about all the stuff from my childhood - Safari Ice-creams anyone? Had little collectable plastic animals inside them? Perhaps that's showing my age a bit.
Hi all - glad you enjoyed the sweet offerings from the sugarbowl!
ReplyDeletethanks for all the lovely quotes: kindness, and living in the now - all part of my outlook on life! (I hope my egg can be a chocolate one, angela!)
rob, i think chappies DO still have info in them but they are more like "do you know" stuff, not jokes in this day & age! (safari icecream.. i don't remember that one!)
Both of them absolutely brilliant quotes! Funny, I didn't know Huletts stuck quotes on their sugar packets - mind you, I don't use the stuff so how would I know - I'll keep my eyes peeled in future, might even start collecting them!
